DOWNTOWN CHANDLER ART WALK
February 16th, 2018

Historic Downtown Chandler
The Downtown Chandler Art Walk is held on the third Friday of the month, year-round, from 6 to 10 p.m. Dozens of talented artists in a variety of media showcase their art along the sidewalks of Boston and San Marcos Streets. Live music in the park, free kids activities and free parking. A map can be printed from the website.
The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show hosts exciting competitions, gala parties, educational seminars, an international cuisine court, and features more than 300 vendor booths, offering everything from lavish jewelry, clothing and works of art..

GILBERT FINE ART & WINE FESTIVA

Gilbert Civic Center
In addition to featured acrylic paintings by Lance Headlee, the event will host juried artists from throughout the state of Arizona, United States and abroad. The festival consists of sensational oil paintings on canvas, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, charcoals and mixed media. Other mediums include spectacular small, medium and life-size bronzes, luminous glass sculptures, small, medium and monumental sized metal creations and fabulous batiks. There is also hand thrown clay, Raku pottery and sculptures, traditional and color scratch board, hand woven baskets, inlaid wood turned bowls, unique and one of a kind jewelry, black & white or color photography, elegant stone, copper, clay and mixed media sculptures. Subject matters range from southwest and traditional to contemporary and abstract, figurative, floral, wildlife, European, African, Native American and much more!
Patrons may also enjoy an extensive collection of domestic and imported wines. For $10, patrons receive an engraved souvenir wine glass and six wine tasting tickets with additional tickets available for $1.00. Sampling a good collection of wines, all in one day, permits patrons the opportunity to select the perfect wine for future purchase.

This festival will feature food sampling and meals from vegetarian restaurants and food companies, health and wellness vendors, vegetarian/animal welfare information tables, and live entertainment and activities throughout the day. It has never been a better time to see for yourself what the vegetarian buzz is about.

PEACH BLOSSOM CELEBRATION

Schnepf Farms
The Peach Blossom Celebration was created so that you could enjoy the beauty of the farm while hundreds of trees are dotted with pink and white blossoms. Once a year over 80 acres of fruit trees start blooming at all different times and once a year, Schnepf Farms opens up to celebrate that beauty. When visiting you can take a train ride, hay ride, walking train to see the orchards. Some orchards are smaller than others some may be in full bloom, while others are just starting. Enjoy trolley rides, a walking trail, train rides and hayrides through the orchards.
